What data we collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and to get goods to you.
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Order request data | Full name, email address, phone number, the pieces and sizes in your bag | The bag and checkout form on this site |
| Enquiry data | Full name, email address, phone number, the content of your message | The contact form, email or phone |
| Delivery data | Delivery address, delivery notes | Given by you after we confirm your order by email |

This website does not take card payments and we never ask for card numbers, bank details or identity documents through it. If a page appearing to be ours asks for those, it is not ours — please tell us.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and we do not collect special categories of data (health, beliefs, biometrics and similar) at all.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer an order request or enquiry — necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To deliver goods and handle returns — performance of the contract between us (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounting and tax records — compliance with a legal obligation under Bulgarian accounting and tax law (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To send a newsletter — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (Article 6(1)(a)).
- To measure how the site is used — your consent given through the cookie banner (Article 6(1)(a)).
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in running a safe service (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not profile you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with parties who need it to do a job for us, and only as much as they need:
- Delivery carriers, so that a parcel can reach you.
- Our email and website hosting providers, which store messages and site data on our behalf.
- Our accountants and, where a dispute arises, our legal advisers.
- Public authorities, where the law requires us to disclose information.
Every processor acting for us is bound by a written contract under Article 28 GDPR. Our providers store data inside the European Economic Area. If a transfer outside the EEA ever became necessary, we would rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and we would say so here.
How long we keep it
| Data | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to an order | 12 months from the last message |
| Order and delivery records | 5 years from the end of the calendar year of the order |
| Accounting documents (invoices) | 10 years, as required by Bulgarian accounting law |
| Newsletter subscription | Until you unsubscribe |
| Analytics data | 14 months, or until you withdraw consent |
| Cookie consent record | 12 months, then we ask again |
When a period ends we delete the data or irreversibly anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Rectify data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erase data, where we no longer have a reason to keep it.
- Restrict how we use it while a question about it is resolved.
- Port data you gave us to another controller, in a machine-readable format.
- Object to use based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
Write to nikoeurocommerce@inbox.eu and we will answer within one month. Exercising these rights is free; we may charge a reasonable fee only for manifestly unfounded or excessive repeat requests.
If you believe we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (Komisia za zashtita na lichnite danni), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, Sofia 1592, or to the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
Security
We keep personal data on services protected by encryption in transit (HTTPS), access control and multi-factor authentication. Access inside the company is limited to the people who need it to do their work. We review these measures periodically and whenever our processing changes.
No transmission over the internet is completely secure. If a breach were ever to put your rights and freedoms at high risk, we would notify you and the supervisory authority as required by Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies are covered separately in our Cookies Policy, which explains each cookie we set, what it does and how to change your choice.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our processing changes or when the law does. The date at the top of the page always shows the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights we will say so clearly on the site before it takes effect.
